i have been interested in this breed for about 30 years ( i fell in love when i saw the movie "patton")and

am considering a purchase. Can anyone tell me the truth about these dogs. Questions like ease of training, barking (i had dachsies that barked if a leaf dropped in the yard. Ugh!!!)

health problems, traveling, socializing, exercise. All those questions that breeders answer with the answer you want to hear. Would you buy another one if you knew what you know now?

A good way to find ethical mini breeders is to go to the "Miniature Bull Terrier Club of America" web site.

Theres a saying, "A good breeder will never have to advertise" and its true. Most of us have people on waiting lists

for a year or more. Most breeders do not ship therefore requiring personal pick-up. It is not unusual to have to go

great distances to find a mini pup.
