Biting front paw pads

My 2 year old female Lhasa chews on her right front paw pads

quite often. This doesnt seem to hurt her because she does not limp. She gets her paws wet and muddy in the process and

comes in with a dirty beard. The vet shave all the hair from

her pads, found nothing and gave me powder to sprinkle on the

pads to no avail. I ried spraying with aple cider vinegar

to no avail. Please help me if you can. Thanks!

Check the dogs paws for stickers between the toes. This has happened to my dog and he chewed like crazy. He had picked up one from the yard and it was driving him crazy!
