I've been hunting for a durable winter snow jacket for Petuno. He loves it when I dress him up to keep him warm. My husband surprised me with a Japanese Chin for my birthday. We have never had one, but I have admired them on paper for a long time. Eito is 11 weeks only, only with us for 1 week now. He is so sweet, and very smart. However, often people have advise to give to new owners on the pros and cons of rearing a new puppy, I am open to suggestions. I look forward to hearing from current and past owners of this adorable puppy.

I am hopeing someone can help me. My neighbor is trying to find some information on the breeder of her Japanese Chin (Ginseng)DOB 10/22/1997 and pictures of the parents. I tried a search online and came up with nothing. the sire is Mettoville's Lover Boy(TN454705/02) and the dam is GG's paper Moon (TM846554/01) the breeders name is Bonnie Sue Schindler she is from Frankford,MO any information would help alot.She got him from a couple that could no longer keep him because of a new baby and they had no info on him either.

Hello Everyone! I'm looking for a Japanese chin - perferably a pup/under a year old. The sex does not matter although I'd like a black and white pup. I just recently lost my eight year old "cootie", who was in perfect health,(he was my baby!!!)Cootie was hit by a car. I'd like to get one as soon as possible. He has had to have his front 3 bottom teeth removed friday..damaged when kicked by mini horse...I m thankful that is ALL that is wrong....My question is... I had started showing him and would LOVE to finish him now..Is it possible I could still show him??? He was only shown 4 times and was WD/BOW or RWD each time!!! :o( I sure hope someway I am still able!!! Please resond and let me know!

Needed a show quality by two week

Dear anyone: Recently inherited a pug chin from a friend who passed away.There was no info or papers. He had said it was a Chinese chin pug, but could find no info on that. Is there such a thing or is it a Japaese chin??? We live in Connecticut.Does anyone know of any breeders that would have had a dog combo like this??She is black, long shiney hair with white chin and under.Would appreciate any info or help.Thanks....mhnejfelt@aol.com

WE BOUGHT A CHIN YESTERDAY AND WHEN WE GOT HER HOME WE NOTICED THAT SHE HAD A SOFT BUMP WHERE HERE BELLY BUTTON SHOULD BE. WE TOOK HER TO THE VET TODAY AND HE SAID THAT SHE HAD A IMBILICAL HERNIA... WE ARE THINKING ABOUT HAVING HER OPPERATED ON TO CORRECT THE MATTER. BUT THE VET SAID IT MAY OR MAY NOT EVER BOTHER HER. IF ANYONE HAS COMMENTS PLEASE LET US KNOW. PLEASE E-MAIL US.

I am having a hard time finding a breeder in my area:Massachusetts or New Hampshire area. We have seen some in the local pet shop, but we want to buy from a reputable breeder. Also, how much should we expect to pay for a chin (we are not looking for a show dog, but a family companion). Thanks for any info!
