Rescue a Irish Wolfhound

My precious dog of 15 years past away several months ago, and my loving cat of 17 years past away last fall. All my pet friends were rescued or found me. I have always desired to have a Irish Wolfhound companion. If a breeder or person has a female Irish Wolfhound that is not "sellable", I am interested in saving it to be a spayed companion for life. I live in Houston, Tx.
