i have a blonde labardor retriver. i was hoping some person could help me with my dog problem. She lives in the basement and she sheds all the time is there somthing i could do to reduce the shedding by perhapes a quater. i want to keep her but this shedding is horrible.

Hi. I have a wonderful M IWH size of 36inch (height), 1 foot (chest) and weighs 145 pound. He is 5 years old and I and my husband really want to have his pup very soon. We never bred before. I have always desired to have a Irish Wolfhound companion. If a breeder or person has a female Irish Wolfhound that is not "sellable", I am interested in saving it to be a spayed companion for life. In every book about wolfhounds there is a print called "The Empty Chair"... Where can I find a copy of this? Do you know who the painter is?

Thank you to those out there (I have some of Tonis responses to inquiries) that advice wolfhound seekers to do their research. I am the proud owner of a 3 year old male IW and wouldnt trade him for anything. Sherman is the most loving and affectionate dog I have ever had. But IW need only to be taken seriously, and to those out there who are serious, in my opinon, when you buy one pup, you ought to buy another. IW communicate and respond to their own like no other breed. And their size makes it hard for them to play with other breeds. Please, do your research so these wonderful dogs do not end up in the pound or the rescue homes.
