Wanted Young Adult Female

Hi: We are interested in a young adult female to run on our horse farm. Weve had show dogs and have bred dogs for over 21 years (owned over 20 champions; most top nationally ranked) so PLEASE no "Stupid, Backward Remarks" from breeders who dont want to sell anyone any pup/adult. Were looking for a response from a serious breeder and YES we know ALL the negatives,ect. Serious responses only. Would be very interested in contacting an importer. Please NO RUDE reponses from "the wannabees".

As someone who has owned and bred dogs and had top ranked show dogs you must already know that no reputable breeder is going to offer you a puppy or young adult of any breed based on a posting to a BB. However, since you were seeking contact information I would suggest you contact Karen Becker, the Corresponding Secretary for the GSMDCA (the US parent club) at for information regarding breeders in the US and abroad.

I disagree that NO ethical reputable breeder will make contact via BB. I look at them... and you apparently do too. Checking things out after initial contact is vitally important regardless of the venue of choice for making that contact. Thats what makes the internet work. I have rigorous checks for potential homes (by the way, this is not my breed, but I do think they are beautiful dogs) for my pups, along with written health guarantees, signed sales contracts (notarized), vet checks on pups and I offer references as well as require them. I also work through our breed club, and get some inquiries through ads placed in magazines and on internet. Generalizations are dangerous to make and rarely true... caution must always be exercised.
