We used to have a dog like that. She would do the exact same things. And if you don't want another dog than here is some more advice. LET HIM SLEEP IN YOUR ROOM.If he is lonely than that would probably work. We tried this with our dog and she was fine. Or have someone watch your dog while you're gone.
