I just want to remind anyone who is intrested in rescue whether it is to adopt or to try to place your own dog please check the particular rescue out and get references! There are many legitimate rescue groups out there but there are also people who claim to do rescue for alterior motives (ie to obtain dogs to sell to medical research, to obtain dogs for fighting purposes, ect.)
