Curly-Coated Retriever: Curly Coated Retriever book

well, I had to share it with my dog buddies...since my non-dog friends think I'm nutz anyway! I just got the book back from the publisher!
The Puppy Diary is a glimpse of the work it takes to raise a litter of pups the right way. The work, mess, heartache, time, time, mess... oh, did I say that already! LOL!
as well as health issues, registration matters, shipping pups, Bio Sensor info, feeding, etc...
Breeding dogs is a labor of love. Their health and well-being is of primary importance. For me raising a litter is a very rewarding, time consuming and expensive passion.
The Puppy Diary is a glimpse of the work it takes to raise a litter from birth till they leave for their new homes. Oh, I'm not asking anyone to buy it! I just had to tell
someone or I was going to bust! (and dog people understand these things!!!) :-)

Curly-Coated Retriever: regarding ear infections in your curly
|
Posted Date: 2000-02-15 08:54:00 By: cathy lew
If its a true ear infection, or chronic condition see your vet.
If the dog gets excess wax, there are products to help dry the ear canal and clean it out. My curlies sometimes get gunky ears after doing water work in some not
so clean ponds. I use a drying powder and ear cleaner routinely when I know they will be worked in water like that.
I use Nolvasan Otic Clens. Your best bet is to see the vet, and have them recommend a product, and show you how to safely clean your Curlies ears.
Other things that may be causing ear problems are ear mites, yeast infections, foreign objects in the ear canal like grasses or seeds, insect bites.

Curly-Coated Retriever: ear infections

My one year old curley seems to have constant ear irritation. He is digging and scratching until they are red and sore. Is there any common, over the counter cream or ointment I can use to keep him from this discomfort? |
