Ok... so this has nothing to do with my dogs, but does have something to do with dogs very closely related to Ben, or dogs owned by a breeder friend of mine...

Tomelle's Moonlit Summer Nite AKA "Ring" took first in his class - Smooth open dogs, and winners dog. for 2 points. Ring is Ben's uncle, he is a litter mate to Ben's dam, Abby.

5/20/2001 - St. Clairsville, OH

Tomelle's Blue Moon aka "Travis" took first in his class - smooth puppy 6-9 months, and winners dog for 2 points. Travis is the son of "Ring" and out of a Bolyn's Movin' On up daughter - half sister to Ring.

Travis' sister Angie - Tomelle's Painted Angel a rough blue, got 2nd in her class both days. Twin Acres Sylvan Visionary aka "Connor" got first in his class - Open sable and white dogs, both days, and North Country Blue Thunder (Owned by another friend) got first in his class both days - open rough blue dogs, and winners dog both days for 1 pt each day.

Way to go Ring, Travis, Angie, Connor, and Thunder!!!!

That's cool. Sounds liek it was a good show for collies that are related to both of our dogs. ;) My monsters are related to that Twin Acres side on that line.

Thats cool... knew you had Twin Acres behind your guys, didn't know which though. Ring, who is a litter mate to Ben's mom is a CH Twin Acres Deliverence grandson. I think Connor (Twin Acres Sylvan Visionary) is a Dark & Dashing X Tiger lilly son. He is the one the lady I went to the nationals with brought home with her.

Thats great! Maybe Ben will grow up to be like some of his uncles, brothers, half sisters, and other relatives!He is a gorgeous boy! How old is he now? Just curious... Well, I am still waiting for my new pup to be born! It seems like forever!Her/his lines is strcictly on Two Jays and Vennessee Collies. Well, good luck with Ben. Yep.. hopefully he'll turn out well, like some of his relatives that I have talked about.

Ben is just 4 months old now, and he is growing like crazy and he eats like a horse LOL he has got some very long legs on him.

Good luck with your pup when you get her. Ben is about half Vennessee... his sire is by Midnight Express, and his grandma on his dams sired (Bolyn's Movin' On up) has alot of Vennessee behind her too....

I am not surprised about those long legs! He probably looks a little weird now because he is maturing, as you know. It sounds as though he has a great pedigree and is a great dog! I am real excited about my new pup. I want to do conformation classes but I am not sure what age she can start. Oh well, I'll find out soon. How are Ben's ears doing? My collie Lady looks like Dumbo with her ears. They just stick straight up! TTYL, Kate

Yep... he is growing like crazy now... pretty good size already. I think this boy will be in the size standard this time, my last 2 were smaller than standard.

Ben is just 4 months now, and he is going to conf. classes already. Last spring/summer I took Timmy to the classes, can't remember for sure, but I think he was just around 3 months when he started.

Ben's ears are looking good right now, and they better stay that way! a prick eared rough is one thing, but I can't take a prick eared smooth LOL They are still being taped/braced right now, and will be for a while still... but right now they look good. They are set really good on top of his head, I love it!! Timmy's were taped the same way Ben's are being taped, and his still tip pretty well at this time. Magic's are sky high, and well Laddie's stick off the side of his head LOL....

This has nothing to do with this topic, but I just found this picture earlier today. I took it about 3 yrs ago, of Laddie and Macey... its one of the better pics I have taken, so I decided to post it here.

This is Macey and Laddie. Macey was just 1 yr old, and Laddie 3 yrs old (He is almost 7 now) Macey is a sable merle girl that no longer lives here, but I just really love this picture. Laddie sure has a handsome boy when he was younger! He has alot of white around the muzzle now.

They are gorgeous! Macey is beautiful. Of course Laddie is to! I am not suprised about the white hairs on his muzzle but it'll happen to us someday (gray hair!). Well, I have three more days until school is out which means three more days until my puppy is due! I am so excited! Hopefully there are a few nice lookin' girls in this litter. Kate:o)

Hey thats great!! Bet you are really looking forward to Friday then. Pups are due, and last day of school for the summer! bet it seems like forever getting here...LOL I on the other hand think Friday is coming WAY to fast LOL Friday is the day I graduate from Highschool. Yes I am looking forward to being offically out of Highschool... the past 12 yrs seems like forever ago...LOL although the last 6 really went fast for me...but I'm not really looking forward to actually going to graduation. Not sure why, I'm just not. Now if I could take Ben with me... sure! I'd be happy LOL I have been out of school since February actually, I had enough credits I only had to go the first half of the year, and tomorrow and Thursday is grad. practice. It will be nice to get back there for a couple of days and see friends though.

Yeah it is but it is taking a LONG time just like you said! I am trying to keep myself occupied so Friday will come real quick and I won't notice it! That would be cool to just skip half the year! I am in some advance classes now but I am not sure if I will in them next year. I just can't wait 'till the pups are born! On Friday every phone call we get I'll be like, "I'll get it!" Of course the pups probably won't be born 'till the middle of the night so Saturday I might get a call! I am probably going to be the only one who won't sleep in on Saturday! Well, good luck with your Graduation! To bad we can't switch spots so Friday will come quick for me and slow for you!lol... Kate:o)
