Chinese Crested: dog treats and clothes

I've been hunting for a durable winter snow jacket for Petuno. He loves it when I dress him up to keep him warm. I found a site online and went absolutely bonkers when I saw what this company had to offer. They sell items from small dog apparel to all-size accessories to pet treats and pet care products. I bought those Share-A-Treats and some Brut Cologne too, hahaha. They manufacture their own rompers (indoor and outdoor) as well as capes and bathrobes. What I like about this compnay is that they really care about animals. They donate 10% of all their purchases to different animal charities around the globe. It also seems as if they are a well-rounded company that not only caters to animals but they take part in children's educations. You'll see what I mean when you check out MaxeeAlexander.com |

My family would love to have a dog, especially my 7 year old son. My son has asthma and is allergic to dogs and cats. I heard that a hairless crested might be an option for us. I have also heard that a non-allergic dog is a myth. Please let me know if you have any experience or knowledge in this area. |

I have a 4 month old chinese crested powderpuff she is now 4.2 pounds How big will she be - I know we are just guessing but some breeders have a formula - also she is verh independent and plays outside most all of the time (doggie doors)with the big dogs the labrador retriever and my very large beagle (both rescue dogs) I thought she would be my lap dog I am beginning to think the breeder had her all wrong - are most chinese crested attached and loyal or independent?? |
Chinese Crested: Liver problems
|
Posted Date: 2000-03-13 19:33:00 By: Joanne
I had a young dog recently passed away due to what the vet described was a liver shunt.
This particular dog had problems his entire life with holding condition and eating.
I never bred with him because I suspected a problem but we couldnt pin it down.
Liver shunts I am led to believe occur as aproblem in Maltese and a number of other
breeds. Has anyone else with the Crestys ever experienced it? |

Hi, I have a hairless that is 3yrs. I have had nothing but big trouble with his skin since I got him at four months old. I tried everything. About 4 or 5 months ago I switched him to Natural Life Vegetarian diet. It took about 3 months for his skin to clear up. Now there is barely a blackhead to be found. I bath him about once amonth or so, and his skin is beautiful, and extremely soft. I am very careful about what he eats now. Nothing that has meat at all. For snacks, he eats raw carrots, and loves canned pineapple. Hope this helps, I just wish I had tried this long before now.
Good Luck with your new baby, thay are wonderful, and smart little dogs!! |
