To those of you familiar with breeding chi\'s. My 7.9 lb deer legged female was tied up with a four month old Chi-Schnauzer mixed male. I have not had her spayed because I have not decided whether or not to breed her, but I\'m worried about the Schnauzer part of the mix and the size of the puppies. The male had a Chi father and Schnauzer mother and is expected to be around 7-9 lbs when fully grown but there\'s no way to be sure until he\'s bigger. My female is really tall and long for a Chi but I know they can have problems giving birth. Any suggestions? Can a four month old puppy even impregnate her even with the \"tie up\"? |
