Does anyone know anything about Black Airedales ??

I am an Airedale breeder. I raise, show and train them. Solid black is not a color for Airedales. Airedales must have tan on the face, legs and belly. I have never seen a solid black Airedale.

Dogs that are all black that look somewhat similar to Airedales are Kerry Blue Terriers. This could be what you are thinking of.

Lakeland Terriers, which are like a 15-pound version of the Airedale, can be solid black as well.

If someone is trying to sell you a solid black Airedale, it is a mix. It is not a purebred Airedale.
