I agree that you shouldnt come across strong, I didnt intend to. There is a very large misunderstanding you have about so called show breeders. I am lucky if one puppy in a litter turns out to be good enough to finish its championship. The rest are sold on spay/neuter/limited regs to loving pet homes. I do not force the average pet buyer to buy a show dog and sign a contract that they will show it. They wont do it anyways. They dont have to do anything they dont want to. If I have a show quality dog that I choose not to keep for my own breeding program I will sell it to someone interested in showing, not a pet owner. If I cant find a suitable show home I will sell it at pet price to a pet home with no expectations of showing it. I do not sell my puppies at exhorbitant prices. Only a couple hundered dollars more than the byb ads in the newspaper and half the price they are in my local area pet stores. And for show prospects I actually sell for less than my pet price as I know th |
