We recently got a rescue puppy and were told it was a husky/cattle dog mix. After seeing several pictures of Canaan dogs, I am wondering if he is one, at least in part. His color isnt the same but the markings and shape of head and ears look dead on. I would like to send a picture of him to show someone but dont know where. any ideas thanks Ron

I used to have a canaan dog named Dino but it got ran over and I have not seen another one since, are they rare?

My dog scout got hit by a car :(like one year ago and I asked my Mom if I can have a Puppy she said that I can if my Dad will let me I asked my Dad and he said that he dose not want to talk about it.He got mad at me for one are two days.I want to get a Gloden Retriever puppy. if you can tell me how to ask my Dad for a dog I will probley nvere forget that you helped me thanks:)

Hi, I've never posted on this board, but..then again I've never heard of a Canaan dog either..anyway, everytime I take that aol 'find the perfect breed' quiz thing, the Canaan dog is ALWAYS in the top three! So, I was wondering if anyone could tell me about the Canaan dog, or if they have a website put the url up. I'd really like to learn more about the breed.
