I have been reading about distal sensorimotor polyneuropathy. My dog is in a lot of pain... He goes to the vet this evening but would like to go with knowledge in hand about what could possibly be wrong... He has been limping on front right foot for a few days and now finds it difficult to move at all... He has no wounds or sores on his leg.He has a hot spot on his nub (tail) that may or may not have anything to do with this but it seems quite raw... Anyone know about this disease mentioned above. I have read write ups about it but it is not written in"English" lol... Too technical for me... Please help ... My Big boy is 5 yrs old 125lbs and has shown some history of hip problems from time to time....

My Anatolian/Great Pyrenees wants to put his mouth on us all the time. Not in a mean way but does let you feel his teeth and at times to hard. Have been unable to break this bad habit. Need some good input. My last dog was a Rottie and this breed is not responding to same training. Thanks

I have a Chinook (Sled Dog), 17 months old. He is itching constantly. He has been to the vet who took hair scrapings and ruled out mange. I am giving him Fatty Acid capsules but they only help a little. I can't see anything on him to indicate why he's itching. Does anyone have any suggestions?

looking for pup/less than one year to adopt into family enviornment out in country, looking in area of Ithaca NY

We are interested in learning more about the puppies for sale. Where are you? How old are they? Do you ship?, etc, etc. We found unregistered 11 week old puppies for sale in our state. They are only $350 and come from parents who work on a sheep farm. Should we be suspect of the apparent low price and are they too old for proper socialization with our growing family? We learned that the parents are not on the premises because the rancher that bred them is in the middle of lambing right now and cannot devote the time to find them proper homes. Hes given them to a third party to sell. What do all you knowlegeable people think?

I recently adopted a dog from our local animal shelter. They said she was a mastiff/german sheperd mix. I think she is an Anatolian. She looks exactly like the picture I found. I want to know more about the breed, especially personality and training methods. Thanks!
