Hello,
I'm not new to dogs although I'm very new to pit bulls. I've only had one in my life and she was a beautiful red stray, but she was extremely sweet. I bought a pretty tan and white female pup when she was about 4 weeks old and I've had her every since. She's about 18 weeks now. When she was 14 weeks I bought a second puppy from the guy I got her from. The situation wasn't the greatest. The boy was 17 and his two females had dropped to litters of pups 11 pups in each litter. When I originally decided to get a new dog I had decided on the cocker, but immediately upon seeing the pups and the situation, I decided that I could at least make difference in one pups life. They were all I think head toward a life of fighting. Which the boy never denied. Anyway this is the question. All the pups from both litters are like 7 times as big as my Lily. Even the second male pup I bought out weighs her. She's about 5 inches tall at the shoulder and she weight 10 lbs. Is this a normal size for her? I took her to the vet and he assured me that she was healthy, but I can't help but think something is wrong when all her brothers and sisters are twice as big as she is. Please help. thank you. |
