Rescue!
This dog was found in an empty doghouse one morning in the city of Askov in Minnesota.
He was impounded by the city, and is due to die today, as his 10 days are up.
My vet, who is supposed to put him down, is holding off to give me a chance to find him a new home.
The new owner needs to be able to pick him up in Askov, which is in East Central Minnesota and be able to prove to have a good home for him. Jed is about 3-4 years old and appears to be an American Bulldog. He is not neutered and was born with one blind eye. (the eye with the brindle patch). The vet will give you a good discount on neutering if you choose to neuter. Jed also has a large neck wound which is being treated by the vet. The wound was caused by his collar growing into his neck. He has been at the vet's for ten days and has shown no signs of any kind of aggression. The vet has a male pitbull as a pet there and they play like buddys. Lots of other animals there as well. He is friendly and outgoing with an even temperament. Although he must have been kept on a chain and broke loose, he is house trained. All and all he is a lovely sweet dog with a nice temperament who would make someone a great pet. Would be a shame to see him put down. Please call me if you think you can help this dog.
Thanks, Nan Greenly
