The Bouv. is NOT a hypoallergenic breed. Literature says it is low shed. If you own one or go to a show or breeders home, you will see they do shed and their hair sticks to carpets and contact lens. If you can find Pam Greens DONT buy a Bouvier article READ it. There are very few hypoallergenic breeds. You might try Standard Poodle, Kerry Blue Terrier, Bedlington Terrier, Bichon, Crested or Xolo. Good Luck
