Hi. All of a sudden tonight I noticed that my 5 yr. old female Boston has little bumps all over her. Has any one else had this happen and/or can you offer advice? It doesn't seem to be bothering her, but I'm still concerned. Looking at them closely they just look like bumps of skin- nothing specific about them. We live in NYC, so I don't think it's a reaction to poison ivy or such, if you can offer advice or experience, please do. Thanks!

Thanks to everyone who gave me the info on Bostons, we brought our new baby home last sunday and she is beautiful. we LOve her!! I am wondering what I should be doing with her at night, we have tried both leaving her in her crate (which she has taken to right away) and we have also tried fencing of one bathroom and leaving her in there with her crate open and newspaper on the floor we leave the radio on low have tried a ticking clock and she always has her toys with her, she is usualy fine at first but it is so sad in the middle of the night when she wakes up crying =+( what can we do? is this someting she will out grow? we are gitting up 3-4 times a night with her, we take her out she goes potty plays for about 10 min then goes back to bed and she is fine for a couple hours. are we doing the right thing? how long until we dont have to get up every couple hrs? Thanks again for all the help.

I have been looking into getting a BT for some time now, what I am trying to find out are some of the good and Bad trates of the breed everything I have read has made them seem like the perfect dog to own, I have always loved the way they look and now that I am looking to get a dog I want to make the right desision, So is there a negitive side to owning a BT? do the slobber alot? or shed excessivly? do they tend to be barkers or nippers?
