I have a small, 9\" AKC Bichon, that I would like to stud. I am located in the Washington Metro Area. He is 8 months, very smart, lovable and well behaved. More joy than I could ever have expected!!!

We have a small female Bichon in the Washington Metro Area. We may be interested in breeding her if we could find a small Bichon male to breed her with. She will be 10 months old on 10/7/08 and weights 6lbs. We purchase her from a ACA breeder. She also is very smart. She is always very happy and brings us much joy.

I am seeking a great groomer in the stockbridge,ga area who will not make my beautiful bichon look like a poodle! It would be wonderful to not have to find a groomer through trial and error. If anyone knows first hand plz respond. Thanks

a friend of mine has become poorly and cannot look after her Bichon(18 month old bitch). I already have a male bichon (2 years old).she has asked me to take her, but i have never had two dogs .will there be problems with them being boy & girl. max has been neutered but Lucy has not. also lucy was toilet trained but since her owner became unwell ,she cannot take her out ,so she is now peeing on trainer pads at the door.will this be easy to reverse?

I have an angel. She is now 2 years old. She was diagnosed with Juvenile cataracts. Her surgery will cost 6000.00.m I need help, if anyone has any information on this. Otherwise, I will carry her for the next 14 to 16 years. She is nothing but my little angel. I can\'t lose her now. I know everyone has problems, but the only thing I understand about this is that it is hereditary. I\'m 60 and can\'t understand how a breeder could pass this on to loving parents. I love her with my whole heart, andf before I knew this I had her spayed. I did not want her to be a breeding machine, but I can\'t let go either. Donna

Hi, I have a 13 year old bichon that has started making a constant licking motion. She isn\'t licking anything - she just makes the motion. Often, she stops dead in her tracks, turns her head to the side and will lick and lick at nothing. Could this be anxiety? or a sign of early dementia?? Has anyone seen this before? I know it isn\'t related to a dental issue. I\'d appreciate any help.

bichonfurkids \"stole\" my dog Bailey from me in Feb. 2009 She was a 1 year and 5 months old. She is all white and wearing a red collar. I live in orange county, ca. We came home tonight and our Bichon\'s tail is limp. He can wag it, but it looks like it was broken. Is that possible? Is it \"fixable\"?

I am purchasing a bichon and have two options. The breeder has two available from the same litter. She has a growth chart to estimate their adult size. One has a 7 lb estimate and the other a 9 lb estimate. My wife wants a smaller one, but I am concerned about possible health issues with one that small (they are only 5 weeks old now-picking them up at 7-8 weeks from breeder). Are there more health concerns with smaller bichon\'s within the breed or litter? P.S. I have to choose one before 5pm EST because someone is coming to pick/purchase one at 5:30 pm. I would prefer to have the first choice. Thanks you in advance for your quick replies.
