I have been wondering if a Terv is a good Junior showmanship dog for me. I am very dog experienced with dogs and good with dogs. Also if I would get one would it be ok with a two year old Australian Cattle Dog and two cats?

I had my pet painted by an artist. I was not dissapointed. I was so impressed by his work I made it a point to let other know. www.latinoart.net don't let the name fool you. When you go there you will see a painting of a dog go to DOG ART. They have reasnoalbe prices. They even posted my German shepard.

Does anyone know anything about exercise induced collapse in tervs. It is supposed to be similar to what occurs in labs. I believe my dog has it but can't find out anything about it.

I am doing a project for school on dog intelligence, and thought it would be a good idea to include results form a test of my own, and to see if my results of different breed intelligence match what the experts say. We have a 5 year old female now and just lost our 15 year old female about a year ago. We are thinking of getting a terv puppy. There is a male that we are interested in but we have never had a male dog. Is there anything we should know about male tervs?

i am interested in a female belgian shepherd to be a companion dog for the family and our 7 year old belgian shep mix. we just lost our older retriever/newf. mix to cancer. we have a 4 month old baby. id like some information on whether these are ok dogs with babies. how will she fit in w/our older dog? thanks!

We currently have a Terv that is ill and would like to find a show quality puppy. I grew up in a family that had show German Shephards. I love this breed and had hoped to become active in showing again.

We have a wonderful plantation home with six acres of groomed grounds for our dogs to run and play.

I am looking for a class or an instructor, in the south King county or north Pierce county area of Washington state, so that I can teach my 11 month old Tervuren female to herd.

I am a 16 year girl old with a 10 month old Tervuren. I want to train her in herding and am looking for a club or trainer to work with me in her training.

I was wondering if anyone has a problem with the Belgina Tervuren biting people. I was at my friends house for over an hour, and the dog was quiet and just lying under the table. I left the table for about 15 minutes and when I returned, the dog took me by surprise and just bit my leg.

She gave no indication, I even forgot she was there. Luckily, the bite did not go thru my slacks and my injury was minor. However, I am concerned because my friend has 6 small grandchildren, and if any of them gets bitten, Im sure the damage will be much worse. Does anyone know if this behavior is common in this animal. Would a tervevueren be a good choice for a family pet with birds (parrots) in the household? I have had great luck with my sheltland and would like to stay with the herding group. I have been captivated by the beauty of these dogs and would like to own one.
