Older beardie and appetite

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get my older beardie to eat? He has lost his appetite altogether. The vet has taken tests and aside from arthritis the tests are OK. Is this common? How old do beardies usually live? I am beside my self with worry. I have tried steak and he will eat a little of that but he doesn't even like rice anymore. Please let me know if you have any suggestions.
