AKC will not let you get papers on a litter with a stud younger than 8 months.
I have found out that a yorkie male is not ready till over a year old. It all depends on the male. I have seen a male of a year that is still shouting blanks. The best is to wait till 2 years old or more.
Now, why do you think your male is good to breed. Have you done all the testing on him? I know that the testing I do, on a male, before I breed him, cost me over $400. You don't want to breed sick puppys. Do you??? Will he improve the breed. What are his lines like? Is he show?
What's his temperment like? How big is he? No one will breed to a big male. It's not just throwing to dogs together. Some males need help. It's a lot to think about. Good Luck
