Hi there in Colorado! Did you try looking under www.akc.org? They should have listings for breeders in your area that are not puppy mills or backyard breeders. If you buy from the paper, they only list phone numbers, no addresses or info is given. You would need to call to get specific details and visit their place also to check out the situation. Please be careful and ask lots of questions! A reputable breeder will not be offended to any questions you should have to ask them! Good luck in your search!
