My wife and I are the owners of a very affectionate 3 1/2 year old Viszla with we have owned since she was a puppy. We love her beyond belief. The problem is is that she is extremely jumpy and has bitten and snapped several times (at us) in the past for no reason what so ever. She had several incidents 2 years ago, but has not had another up until this week. We barely avoided putting her down then, but do not think there is any way to avoid it now, especially now that we have a 1 year old baby. In good conscience we cannot give her to another family. Is there anyone out there that would hunt her and keep her in a large pen where she will not have the opportunity to bite anyone? This may be our only way out without destroying her.
