You should contact breeders from the Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier Club of America at www.scwtca.org. There
are also two great breed clubs in California. Try the Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier Club of Northern California
at www.scwtcnc.org for their breeders list. I would stick to breeders from one of these clubs because there are many
backyard breeders who breed without regard for health (PLE/PLN, serious diseases that dont show up until
the dog is 2+ yrs old), conformation, or temperament. You can be sure that a breeder who belongs to one of these
clubs adheres to the clubs ethics/standards guidelines and breeds only to produce the best dogs (not to make $).
They will thoroughly interview and you will feel like you are adopting a child but, trust me, it is worth the
process to get a happy, healthy, well-adjusted puppy. This is true even if you only want a pet. Most breeders
