Help! My adorable 10 month old wheaten, "Wally" keeps getting matted under his collar. We have a circular, leather collar on him, and he is professionally groomed every three weeks, but he still gets horrible mats. Any suggestions??? (Yes, we brush him)

Wheatens tend to go through a difficult stage with their coats from @ 9 months and it can last until theyre 18 months. During this stage, youll have to brush every day. The rolled leather collar should help. This stage will pass!!! Also, are you brushing the coat first, with a slicker brush and, then, with a greyhound comb? With the greyhound comb, you need to layer brush the entire coat, beginning at the skin and working out.
