I am looking for an adult Wheaten Terrier to adopt. I need a dog that is healthy enough to go hiking and who is ok with other dogs and cats. I have contacted the rescue groups but I wanted to see if there were any dogs available from other sources. Please send me an email. Thank you

There are several Wheaten mixes and possibly a purebred at several shelters at petfinder.com.

Also www.hua.org has a purebred one year old female Wheaten for adoption--look under dogs

for adoption (she is on page 5 and they do home visits and place dogs all over the country).
