Skye Terrier: Info about breed

I have a female miniature Schnauzer and I am considering getting a second dog to join our family. I was wondering how well a Skye Terrier would get along with another dog, mainly a Miniature Schnauzer and also my 3 and 6 year old sons. I would also like to know a little about the breed.
