I just lost my 15 year old male samoyed last week and it is very difficult not coming home everyday to your best friend. The best way I can think of honoring his memory is to find another male samoyed to be part of our household. I live in Iowa and am willing to drive a good distance to get a new puppy. I rescued my last samoyed from the local animal shelter when he was 6 months old and he made it to age 15 so he had a good long life.
