How are Sammys with a baby?

I have a male Sammy (Teddy). He is about 1 1/2 years old. He is constantly getting into mischief. He sneaks into the bathroom and finds a towel or something and destroys it. I think he gets a kick out of getting in trouble. But now we have a baby on the way, and I am worried. Teddy will be 2 years old when the baby comes. Do I need to get rid of Teddy? Any advice will be appreciated.
