Companion for PWD

Just wondering if anyone has any thoughts about a good companion breed to have with a PWD? I would love to get another and am thinking about rescue...have plenty of time to waite as I have a 14 month old baby girl in addition to my two older children. Been thinking maybe there is another breed that would be a good match for a PWD. Anyone have other breeds along with their PWD. TIA

We have successfully mixed a (neutered) male Standard Poodle with a female PWD. After an initial rough beginning (lots of barking and growling) they get along wonderfully.
