Why did you decide to breed the dam and stud? Do they have their AKC championship and any performance titles? Have they had their OFA, CERF, and other clearances done with a good or higher rating? Are these dogs close to the breed standard and will improve the breed. Have you had contracts approved by a lawyer for puppy buyers? What are in your contracts? Where are the pups raised? How do you socialize these pups? Did you take time off from work to care for the litter? Have these pups been evaluated by a proffesional evaluator to see if they are show quality or not? If so, who? Thank you for responding. |

Whoever you may be either the (CIA) or let me rephrase that (DIA). To answer your many questions and then some. YES, yes, yes, yes, yes,.
I think that was all of them??
I'm sure i'll be corrected.
In addition to all those questions being asked by the "Breeder Basher" questions. FYI. I raise all my dogs and pups right inside of our home. No, I do not take time off from work to care any of them. You might want to know why?
Because I don't have to!!!!!
I work at our home. I am there EVERY step of the way.
One more note I have spent as much as 2K on a single purchase. Yes I would do it again.
Any further interrogations? |

I am not trying to be rude. I am just interested in a dog. If you were a wonderful breeder you would not bash my questions. Godd breeders in my opiniosn will be happy to answer questions a potential puppy owner may have. If I were you I would be happy someone would be such a great owner that they would ask these questions. Also, many people don't brag about how much their dogs cost. By the way, $2000 isnt much for a quality dog. |

I think this is a little late, but Tias Mommie. I myself would be very flattered and think "Wow, this potential puppy buyer has really done her homework." I'm shocked by such as defensive response. I myself asked my breeder the very same questions and she answered every one in detail as best she could and actually thanked me for doing show as she thought it showed I was very responsible.
I'd think about responding like that agian. It certainally didn't look good on your part. |

Ifyou read all of the messages, you would have read where I was referred to as a "Back yard breeder".
I take pride in breeding my dogs. I have a waiting list for Pups. Does that say anything?
Their response to me was very rude! |

I've read all the replies in this thread and a few pages back and I see nowhere where you were refured to as a BYB by goldensandpoo. The first post simply asks questions any dog owner wanting a puppy should be asking. Any good breeder would simply answer the questions as best they could, not get defensive. After a response like that that I would never consider going to you or recomending you to other people. That second post sounded very much like you were hiding something. |

Believe me. I would not or do not need any recommendations from anyone here. Like I said I have waiting lists for my puppies. Along with references from current owners. I don't know why I even bothered to sign up on here to begin with. I thought it was a group of Professionals. |

Woah...you people need to settle down. I know this is really old but i just noticed it. We are suppose to be talking about our poodles here. Not fighting over how somthing was "rude." The breeder was just trying to advertize his/her poodles and everybody came up in his/her face. Maybe if you ask politely, you will get a polite response. He/She doesn't deserve to be talked to like that especially when you don't even know him/her. |
