That\'s the wonderful thing about pomeranians. They were bred down from a dog called a german spitz, essentially, it\'s just a large pomeranian (25 lbs i hear). Pomeranians used to be bigger than they are now, coming in more toy-ish and teacup sizes. Pommy also is ten pounds and I have mixed reactions when people see her. Some \'new pom breed\' activists swear she is not a pure pom because she\'s ten pounds while others take her for what she is. And poms def come in tri colors, it\'s just very rare, and you\'re lucky for finding one.
If he matches what the breed standard is then I would def say he is a pure pom. And if you got him from a reputable/trusting breeder.
Because I got my ten pound pomeranian from a backyard breeder and she was nearly dead. It\'s just..yeah...You\'ll get people that are going to be assholes and tell you that he\'s too big to be a pom. But he\'s not. Trust me. I actually favor the big poms more than I do the smaller ones because they\'re quicker with agility and a hell of a lot more sturdy than the fragile breakable little teacups like my new puppy |
