Want to be owned by a Pharoah

Hello. I am new to this breed,but fell totally in love with them. Would they be a good inside dog here in the southwest where it is warm most of the year? Are they really a NON-doggy smelling breed?

Hi. The answer to both of your questions is "Yes". There are many people in warmer climates that own Pharaoh Hounds and do fine with them. Due to their short coats, as long as they have water and shelter, and you use common sense with the heat, they do very well. Also, I find that Pharaoh Hounds are cleaner than cats and most dogs. My son is allergic to dogs, and has never been bothered by the Pharaohs, since they have very low dander and little hair. I recently had my second litter of Pharaoh Hounds, and have seven week old puppies available.
