help for stray wounded pek

I live in minneapolis/St. Paul. Got a call last night from a good friend. She has a friend who rescued \"oliver\" 5 months ago. He only has one eye. well, he got attacked and the other eye got injured. She could not find a vet in St. Cloud (the area she lives) who would see her without cash. A wonderful vet in Baxter Mn saw Oliver last night and he isn\'t sure he can save the eye because too many hrs had gone by (thanks to the vets in St. Cloud ugggghhh). Well, he patched it, medicated it and is ready to sendhim home for now but they need payment. I am donating and so is my friend pam, do you know of any societies that we could get help from??? They will have to put Oliver down if we can\'t pull the money together. Please contact me if you can help. I don\'t care if it is 5.00. I can give you the vet clinic and who to talk to so you can verify this is not a made up story.....please help if you can......elizabeth. binkyjoe@hotmail.com
