Pekingese Forum:
giving eye medicine

I have a two year old female pekingese who has an eye ulcer. She is usually a wonderful, well behaved dog, but I am having a terrible time putting in her eye medicine. She will close her eye, snap at me or try to get away. I do not think it hurts when I put it in her eye. If you have any suggestions, Punkin (my dog) and I would be glad to hear it.
