General Breeder Info

I'm looking far forward to getting a Newf pup (my first!) in late spring of 2004. I'm new to dealing with a breeder. How far in advance do you generally notify a breeder that you want a pup? When should i start visiting the parents? Again, i have over a year.

Hi, You need to start looking for a good breeder now. Most good breeders screen puppy buyers thoroughly and their puppies are often spoken for before the breeding is even done.
