Im raising a 5 month old maltese dog. He does look like maltese except that he has pigment on his skin. The pigment is in darker pink than his skin and he has them on stomach and back. Id asked many many people who have maltese dogs but they dont seem to know about it. Im not really sure if pure breed maltese can have those pigmentation on the skin. I have a 12mth old pure bred Maltese...he constantly barks at my 9 year old son. How do we make him stop - he is driving us insane ... the barking is high pitched and very annoying.
