The Dandie Dinmont is no dandy, it is a tough active little dog. They require plenty of exercise daily an will enjoy running in a fenced field where it can explore. They should not be allowed off-leash in unfenced areas because of their tendency to wander. They are quite independent and can be difficult to train.
