Cardigan Corgis are very affectionate with their family and playful with children. They are cautious around strangers and make good watch dogs. Because of their long low body type care should be taken that they do not become overweight. They should have access to a safely fenced area to run and play, although they will adapt to apartment living as long as they are walked daily.
