We saved a pomeranian from going to the pound. She was malnurished and did not look in the best shape. We brought her home and in a few weeks her hair got color back and she put on weight. A month later, we got a huge suprise, she was pregnant! She delivered 3 puppies (she showed no signs of pregnancy before the first puppy delivered). Here is the problem, she will not let us get close to the welping box. She growls, shows her teeth and comes after us. We have never hit her or done anything to make her this way. She isn\'t the best mother and needs alittle assistance. When she is out of the box she turns into the loving pom and craves attention. I am afraid to keep her now that I know she can turn on a minutes notice. I am afraid that she will bite my grandson. We also have a scottish terrier who loves kids and our pom, and she will not even get close to the welping box. ( That is fine) What can I do? I am considering keeping one of the puppies and finding a home for the mother.
Any advice?

Also I am A first time pom breeder and I would like to konw.
If at 5 weeks old A pupie can not hold its ears up all the way will it be able to as an adult?
There is one pup that I do not know what to call its coloring? He is mostly black w/ some chocolate brown and he has white on his paws he is starting to get some gray spots as well. What would you call him. I know that \"party\" is an option but are there any others?
Also is there any way of knowing how big thay will be as adults?
Please let me know at RTk9s@yahoo.com!
