What Happened To The Old Breeder Web?
We have been remodeled by a new company, MTI, Inc. MTI is dedicated to rebuilding the once thriving dog community that Breeder Web was known for before 2003. We will be adding new features quickly and consistently. Also, we have turned Breeder Web listings to a completely free listing directory for breeders, businesses and services. We will offer the ability to gain a higher position and prominence on the site searches and category listings, sold on a monthly basis for a low price that allows you to advertise your litters and products at a smaller cost for a more limited time. For example, if you have recently had a litter, there's no need to advertise for a full year (you can, of course, purchase full year search spots at a discount). We will promote your kennel on a month to month basis for a low price, passing the savings back to you. If you have paid for a full year, despite the price change for each month of listing prominence being set at $5-$10 per month, we will give you a full year of high listings to compensate for whatever you've already paid for. We hope to regain your trust and business. We will have email set up within the next two weeks as well as returning the login and signup processes. Be patient, we'll be right with you :).
What Is BreederWeb?
When we created BreederWeb, we set out to create
a place on the web that was both informative and resourceful.
After careful analysis of current web sites on the internet and several
iterations, we decided that this format was the best mix of these two
premises. Unlike most web sites that claim to be breeder resources,
we focus on dog breeders-- period. We wanted to create the most
comprehensive dog breeder site, and we think you'll agree that we've
accomplished our goals.
Who Gets Listed?
Anyone that breeds one of our 150+ listed
dog breeds can get placed. We provide completely
free listings for breeders. If we don't have your particular
breed listed, send us an email. When we have enough requests to
support a new breed category, we'll be sure to do so and notify you
immediately.
Do You Recommend Any Specific Breeder?
No. We do not promote any specific breeders
or claim that one is better than the next. Consider us a reference,
much like a Yellow Pages. The Yellow Pages does not play
favorites, and neither do we.
How do you keep Puppy Mills out?
Puppy mills are very crafty, but we do everything
we can to make sure we do not list any of them. We check periodically
to make sure our breeders are not listed with the APHIS or USDA websites
and have an open door policy for those that know of breeders that engage
in unethical behavior. With proof, we will expel breeders from
our directory. We also have a new policy where we require all
breeders who register with us to digitally sign an affidavit that states
they are not in the milling business. Fraud, as mentioned in the
Terms of Use Agreement, will be dealt
with legally. Although no method is foolproof, we hope to thwart
a good bulk of such breeders from BreederWeb.
